WIZARD’S TOWER WELCOMES AQUEDUCT PRESS

Wizard’s Tower Press is pleased to announce that it will be stocking selected ebooks, from Aqueduct Press, the leading publisher of feminist science fiction, in its online store. The occasion will be marked by a one-week sale of Aqueduct titles.

Aqueduct Press dedicates itself to publishing challenging, feminist science fiction. The company promises to bring readers work that will stretch the imagination and stimulate thought. Its ebook list contains work by many prominent women authors, including Ursula K. Le Guin, Karen Joy Fowler, Gwyneth Jones, Nisi Shawl and Suzy McKee Charnas.

For a one-week period all of the Aqueduct titles in the Wizard’s Tower store will be available at around 25% off the list price. The sale will end at midnight on January 24th.

Cheryl Morgan said: “I have purchased many Aqueduct titles in the past and am delighted to have this opportunity to encourage others to do the same. Although Aqueduct is a relatively small company, its feminist focus means it is offered works by internationally famous authors such as Le Guin and Fowler. It is also a great source of new works by young women writers.”

The Wizard’s Tower bookstore exists to sell Wizard’s Tower’s own books and magazines, such as Dark Spires and Salon Futura. However, the intention is to offer space to any science fiction and fantasy small press that has ebooks for sale.

Wizard’s Tower press is owned and managed by Cheryl Morgan and based in the UK. Cheryl has won three Hugo awards for her online writing and editing. She is the non-fiction editor for the Hugo-winning and World Fantasy and Locus Award nominated Clarkesworld Magazine. Cheryl is also a director of San Francisco Science Fiction Conventions Inc, and of the Association for the Recognition of Excellence in SF & F Translation.
