Joel Cornah

Joel Cornah is the author of The Sword-Breaker Trilogy, a swashbuckling pirate adventure, with dinosaurs, penguins, and more besides!

They were the audio producer and Dungeon Master for The Campaign Trail podcast, a D&D actual-play show about getting a goblin elected prime minister. This included guest stars (Such as Anna Smith Spark, Chris Beatie, and Bethany Black), voice actors (Such as Dominic G Martin and Genevieve Sebayan), and specially commissioned music, as well as an action-packed story of political intrigue, comedy, and adventure.

Their writing began as a way of preserving the stories they told their siblings about their favourite dinosaurs, penguins and dragons; stories that eventually became a whole world, growing in depth, and darkening in tone.

They were a contributing editor for The Science-Fiction and Fantasy Network, and their interview series included authors such as Brandon Sanderson, Kameron Hurley, and Becky Chambers, as well as TV stars ranging from Sylvester McCoy and Peter Davison, to Paul Darrow and Sophie Aldred.

They have been outspoken about their dyslexia, supporting efforts to spread awareness through talks, articles, and books.

They work as a Media Archivist at Oxford and were the creator of The Miliverse.
