Wizard’s Tower is delighted to announce that we will be re-publishing The Summer Goddess, the fourth novel by our talented editor, Joanne Hall.

Hall’s novels were originally published by Grimbold Books, who have since ceased trading. We have rescued a number of their books, including the award-nominated Fight Like A Girl #2, several of our early novellas, and Joel Cornah’s Sword-Breaker trilogy.

The Summer Goddess received considerable critical acclaim on its first publication, including being short-listed for Best Novel in the British Fantasy Awards. Some of the praise for the book includes:

It got a rave review on the Fantasy Faction website earlier this year, which led to several people writing to ask if it would ever be back in print. I’m happy to oblige. Jo is doing a fresh editing pass, and we’ll be commissioning a new cover.”

Publication is expected in Spring 2026.
