Wizard’s Tower to Re-Publish The Summer Goddess by Joanne Hall

Wizard’s Tower is delighted to announce that we will be re-publishing The Summer Goddess, the fourth novel by our talented editor, Joanne Hall.

Hall’s novels were originally published by Grimbold Books, who have since ceased trading. We have rescued a number of their books, including the award-nominated Fight Like A Girl #2, several of our early novellas, and Joel Cornah’s Sword-Breaker trilogy.

The Summer Goddess received considerable critical acclaim on its first publication, including being short-listed for Best Novel in the British Fantasy Awards. Some of the praise for the book includes:

“…a breath of fresh air for anyone looking for fantasy that centers on diverse voices, emotional complexity, and a strong female lead on a journey that feels both personal and epic.” – Julia Kitvaria Sarene on Fantasy Faction

“Definitely worth all five stars.” – S Naomi Scott on Goodreads

“…this is the work of one of Britain’s best modern fantasists entirely on top her game.” – Steven Poore on Goodreads

Hall said, “I’ve always been quite proud of The Summer Goddess, and I’m absolutely delighted that Wizard’s Tower are allowing me to bring it to an audience who may have missed out on it the first time around.”

Publisher, Cheryl Morgan said: “This book has been on my to-do list for some time. It got a rave review on the Fantasy Faction website earlier this year, which led to several people writing to ask if it would ever be back in print. I’m happy to oblige. Jo is doing a fresh editing pass, and we’ll be commissioning a new cover.”

Publication is expected in Spring 2026.
