We are delighted to announce that we have just added a bunch of titles from Prime Books, including Lightspeed Magazine, to the Wizard’s Tower online store. What’s more, they are all on sale. A full press release is available here.
Cheryl Morgan of Wizard’s Tower Press is also the non-fiction editor of Clarkesworld Magazine, from Wyrm Publishing. Clarkesworld has been doing very well in this year’s major awards. One of their stories, “Spar” by Kij Johnson, won a Nebula Award. The magazine itself won a Hugo Award. And the magazine is also nominated for a World Fantasy Award.
Issue #1 of our literary review magazine, Salon Futura, was launched at the World Science Fiction Convention in Melbourne, Australia yesterday. You can read it for free online here. The magazine includes video interviews with China Miéville and Lauren Beukes, a podcast featuring Gary K. Wolfe, Nnedi Okorafor and Fábio Fernandes, and lots of other great material. It also has the table of contents for Dark Spires.
We are delighted to welcome Jonathan Clements to the list of contributors to Salon Futura. Jonathan is an acknowledged expert on the subject of anime and manga, and will be providing an occasional column on those areas. Further information about him is available on the Salon Futura contributors page.
Well, that’s it, we are live. The press release has gone out. Hopefully people are talking about us.
