The hugely successful Green Man series chronicles the adventures of Daniel Mackmain, a son of a human man and a dryad, a female tree spirit. Because of his ancestry, Dan can see supernatural creatures that are often invisible to ordinary mortals. His job as a carpenter at a small stately home is well suited for when the Green Man comes calling and asks him to deal with threats to the supernatural community.
