Description
On Wulfric Kennetson’s Highland estates the year is turning. Wulf has discovered that Morag & Boyd’s father’s illness can be treated with a tincture of unicorn eggshell, but they’re running out. Although Wulf has a male unicorn, now looked after by Morag, these animals are rare and finding a female is complicated.
Thankfully Wulf knows of a woman who keeps such a beast. She’s married one of the selkie people of the Isles. On the plus side, she’s mother to Van, Peat and Russ. But her new husband and his clan are nursing an ancient feud with Muirdoch the water horse. There could be trouble ahead.
Meanwhile Boyd is growing into a young man. Wulf and Muirdoch need to help him master his water affinity. But Boyd is being hunted by something they know little about: teenage girls!
