Jacey Bedford

Jacey Bedford is a British writer of science fiction and fantasy with novels published by DAW in the USA and by Wizard’s Tower in the UK. Her fifty-plus short stories have appeared on both sides of the Atlantic online, in magazines and anthologies. She lives a thousand feet up on the edge of the Yorkshire Pennines in an old stone house that takes the first hit when the wind howls off the moor. She has been a librarian, a doll maker, and a folk singer and in addition to writing she’s music-mum and wrangler to a bunch of touring musicians. Her claim to fame is that, with vocal trio, Artisan, she once sang live on BBC Radio 4 accompanied by the Doctor (Who?) playing spoons. (Thank you Sylvester McCoy).
